Nichole has been involved in gymnastics since 1992 when she started her coaching career in California, working as a preschool and recreational coach. She moved to Eugene, Oregon and continued at the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics as a recreational coach and preschool teacher. In 1997, she moved several times during the next three years and worked as a coach in Seattle, Idaho, and Utah. She was the mobile gym and preschool director and increased these programs from 15 students to over 225 students over an 18 month period. Nichole moved to Fairbanks in May 2000, where she taught in a preschool/recreational program. After she and Dan started their family they moved to Anchorage, where she has been the preschool gymnastics director, recreational gymnastics director, and lead teacher in Arctic's certified preschool program. Nichole and Dan purchased Arctic Gymastics in November of 2003. Their daughters Aunika and Brieley attend the homeschool and preschool classes at the gym.
